Role Description

As a Sales Associate, you will guide customers through their cycling journey, ensuring they have the knowledge and support needed to achieve their goals. You will contribute to Trek’s mission by delivering exceptional hospitality and helping more people experience the joy of cycling. Description

Our DOTS Sales Associates help achieve Trek’s mission by providing incredible hospitality to customers and encouraging more people to ride bikes. Sales Associates guide customers through their cycling goals, ensure their bicycles perform as designed, and deliver a great experience from arrival to departure. Daily activities include learning about bikes and accessories, participating in team huddles, using the Guide Sales Process, following up on quotes, and maintaining store merchandising standards. Additional tasks involve completing daily assignments, assembling new bicycles, and prepping customer bikes for service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales and hospitality skills through training, role-playing, and on-the-job experience.
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets of at least $400,000 per fiscal year for full-time Sales Associates.
  • Learn about bikes, components, apparel, and technology.
  • Participate in daily huddles and debriefs.
  • Use the Guide Sales Process to provide customers with incredible hospitality.
  • Follow through on Quotes and Lead List communications.
  • Make decisions regarding the care of customers.
  • Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules.
  • Complete Daily Task List assignments when not actively taking care of customers.
  • Maintain all aspects of store merchandising according to visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, and product re-stocking.
  • Complete weekly Cycle Counts.
  • Assemble or pre-assemble new bicycles.
  • Prep customer bikes for service by Service or Production Technicians.
