The Sales Associate delivers exceptional hospitality and customer experiences in-store, supporting daily operations and achieving individual goals. This role contributes to a positive team environment and helps connect customers with the right bikes and gear. The position is key to maintaining store standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Description
As a Sales Associate, you are responsible for delivering amazing hospitality and driving a great customer experience while supporting daily operations and hitting individual goals. You will use the Guide Sales Process to connect customers with the right bikes, gear, and services, develop your sales and customer service skills, and participate in daily huddles and debriefs. Additional duties include responding to phone calls and emails, assisting with warranty cases, learning about Trek products, maintaining required learning modules, helping with store opening/closing, operating the POS system, completing end-of-day cash-up, and maintaining product displays and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Use the Guide Sales Process to connect customers with the right bikes, gear, and services.
- Develop sales and customer service skills through training, role-playing, and on-the-job experience.
- Utilize Lead Lists to stay engaged with customers and drive sales.
- Participate in daily huddles and debriefs to stay aligned with the team.
- Make customer-focused decisions and create positive experiences.
- Respond to phone calls and store emails with professionalism and helpfulness.
- Assist with warranty cases—support customers, document exchanges, and coordinate with Inventory DRI.
- Learn about bikes, components, apparel, and technology.
- Maintain required learning modules and continuing education.
- Help with store opening/closing, operate POS, and complete end-of-day cash-up.
- Execute responsibilities as directed by the Store Manager.
- Wear the uniform and present yourself to professional standard.
- Complete the Daily Task List when not with customers.
- Maintain product displays and merchandising in line with directives.
- Perform weekly cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
- Assemble or pre-assemble new bikes and assist in preparing customer bikes for service.
- Keep the showroom and back-of-house clean, organized, and efficient.
